Rifford Road Cycle Route

Please provide copies of any correspondence between Cllr Stuart Hughes and the Director of Climate Change, Environment and Transport, or other Cabinet members, or any other officers including Transport Planning & Road Safety officers involved with the Rifford Road Cycle Route, in relation to:

1. Discussions about the evidence in the Rifford Road Scheme design and use of the 3 Floating Bus Stops.

2. Preparation of the Rifford Road Cycle Scheme Updates with specific reference on the impact on those with reduced visible disabilities and those individuals that are blind that need to cross the dual cycle paths.

3. Discussions relating to the need to produce an updated / new Impact Assessment, which was written in 2022, PRIOR to the Exeter Hatoc Meeting (16.01.23) by the then Principal Transport Planner and signed off by the Head of service. This Impact assessment was never updated during or after talks with the RNIB and the discussions to use Floating Bus stops?

4. What date did the Director of Climate Change, Environment and Transport, use their delegated authority in consultation with the Chair and local County Councillor to approve minor changes to the scheme design and the decision to use Floating Bus Stops on the scheme.
NB There appears to be NO WRITTEN EVIDENCE to date ON THIS £1.55 million Cabinet approved scheme. Who made this desicion and when?

The scheme design using floating bus stops has not changed since cabinet so the Director of Climate Change, Environment and Transport has not approved any changes.
