Commemorative plaques at Taw Bridge, Barnstaple

In relation to the commemorative plaques, two in number, and situated near the southern end of Taw bridge Barnstaple, please provide each and every item of record in whatever form held by the council relating to:-

1. The cost of the work in excising the details of Councillor Greenslade from both plaques.

4. Any record of Meg Booth having made inquiries as to the ownership of the plaques prior to ordering their defacement;

5. Any record evidencing Meg Booth having considered or checked upon her vires and legal competence in ordering the defacement of the plaques in the alternate case that these were, at the time, owned by Devon County Council, or some third party;

6. A list of delegations of council powers at the material date to both Councillor Hart and Meg Booth to enable an objective consideration of whether either of them had lawful power to order what in the absence of the owner’s consent would have been criminal damage to the plaques.
