1. Which organisations have been commissioned to provide Mental Health Support Services to the Community?
For Children: Mental Health Support Services for Children and Young People in Devon – NHS Devon Integrated Care Board (ICB) lead the commissioning activities as part of a joint commissioning agreement under Section 75 of the NHS Act 2006.
For Adults: Devon County Council (DCC) has a partnership agreement with Devon Partnership NHS Trust to deliver mental health social care services, this is not a contract. DCC also grant funds some community mental health support services, however, there are no contracts involved.
2. Who is responsible at the Local Authority for managing support services to people with complex mental health challenges?
For Children: Devon County Council does not manage support services for people with complex mental health challenges as that is not a local authority responsibility.
For Adults: Devon County Council does not manage support services for people with complex mental health challenges as that is not a local authority responsibility.
