a) The council ran five childrens homes in 2019 – Welland House Children’s Home, Barnes Children’s Home, Hillcrest Children’s Home, Meadowpark Children’s Home and Atkinson’s Secure Children’s Home.
b) The council ran five children’s homes in 2014 – Welland House Children’s Home, Blossom Corner Children’s Home, Burchen Lane Children’s Home, Rifford Road Community Home and Atkinson’s Secure Children’s Home.
Brookhayes was vacated in 2010 so was not operational in 2014 or 2019 although owned by the Council until 2020.
