No, the Council does not have a policy specifically for HIV discrimination. Please refer to this Devon County Council webpage for information relating to equality, diversity and inclusion.
HIV status is officially recognised as a disability from diagnosis and therefore under the disability theme, is a protected characteristic. As such HIV status discrimination as it is covered in our existing policy.
