I would like to request the total cost to Devon County Council for the use of Taxi services in 2023 for;
a) transport of NHS patients to and from all hospital clinics for example dialysis and oncology etc.

b) transport of children and young adults with SEN.
£19,152,839.
c) all eligible adults and children for the purpose of social care.
With regards to children, the figure is £1,288,000. Please note that this spend will include a small amount of spend on bus passes / train tickets but the large majority will be taxi costs.
It is not possible to split out the taxi costs from the other types of transport spend and therefore Devon County Council do not hold information with regards to adults.
