Deputy Monitoring Officer – Andrew Yendole from 16/08/2010 until 30/11/21. Carl Hedger from 01/12/2021 to 23/10/2022, then Andrew Yendole from 24/10/2022 onwards.
Director of Children’s Services – Stuart Collins from 04/09/2023 . Before September 2023 the Council did not have a director of Children’s Services. However the post of Chief Officer was held by Melissa Caslake from 01/02/2021 to 09/11/2022, Julian Wooster (interim) 03/01/2023 to 01/09/2023 and Jo Osslon from 05/10/2017 to 04/01/2021.
Lead Member for Children’s Services – Councillor James McInnes was in post from 01/01/2019, and Councillor Andrew Leadbetter took over on 27/05/2021. From August 2023, the SEND Improvement element was removed from the Cabinet Post of Children’s Services and Schools and a new post established called Cabinet Member for Children’s SEND Improvement Services. Councillor Lois Samuel took on this role and is still in post.
