Please provide the 24 hour Manual Classified Counts (MCC) of Honiton Road, immediately east of Sweetbrier Lane, Exeter, on 28/09/2023.
Devon County Council can confirm that we hold the 24-hour MCC data for Honiton Road, immediately east of Sweetbrier Lane, on 28/09/2023. Unfortunately, we are unable to supply the data requested at the present time, as we consider that disclosing this may unfairly bias the outcomes of the Statutory Consultation relating to the Heavitree and Whipton Active Streets Trial. As such, it is reasonable, and in the public’s interest, to exempt it from disclosure under Section 22 Freedom of Information Act 2000 (information held with a view to its future publication).
However, as per the spreadsheet (available under ‘Measures of Success’ at devon.cc/exeterstreets), we can confirm that a 12-hour total vehicular count recorded on Honiton Road on 28/09/2023 was 22,402 and the total cycle count recorded was 210.
As is standard for MCC, the September 2023 MCC at the Honiton Road/Sweetbrier Lane junction covered the 12-hour period from 07:00 to 19:00, rather than 24 hours.
