I would like submit a freedom of information request to identify how often the the lane heading South East from Gaylards, Withleigh has been inspected over the past 5 years, what was identified and what maintenance you carried out over the past 5 years.
I would like to know how many pothole reports have been submitted over the 5 years and what pothole repairs have been carried out.
The road / lane is the only route in and out and is in an appalling condition. The drainage ditches are full of mud and debris and therefore when it rains the road becomes a stream, freezes and then more pot holes. I have recently report three potholes to receive the same reply. No immediate action to be taken despite the clear dangers present.
Devon County Council (DCC) does not hold this information. This is because the lane is not recorded as highway maintainable at public expense and is not the responsibility of Devon County Council.
