In relation to question 2 we can confirm as follows:
Supplier/provider is Orona Lifts Ltd.
Total annual spend is circa £10,000.
The services provided under this contract are maintenance and repair of lifts for the DCC corporate estate, Local Authority-maintained schools and other commissioned services.
The number of sites covered by the contract is 60 sites with 93 lifts as taken from the recent tender documents.
The brand name of the type of lifts used by DCC come from a range of manufacturers. Any new lifts that are to be installed are typically performance specified. As a lift manufacturer, Orona will often install Orona lifts if a new lift is commissioned.
The start date of the contract is 1 April 2016.
The end date of the contract is 31 March 2024.
The duration of the contract, including any extension period was 1 April 2016 to 31 March 2020 with a further four year extension bringing the contract to a final end on 31 March 2024.
The DCC officer responsible for the lift contract is Sarah Bowker, Maintenance and Compliance Manager
