1. Is there any policy and/or procedure, either formal or informal, of editing and/or proofing and/or amending age assessment reports following being submitted by the assessing social workers prior to disclosure to young people and/or their legal representatives?
There is no formal procedure for editing, proofing or amending age assessment reports following being submitted by the assessing social workers On completion of the interviews both assessing social workers contribute to the written assessment, analysis and outcome. It is then proof read prior to the ‘Minded to’ meeting/before sharing with the young person.

3. In the event such policy and/or procedure exists, we request details of who the age assessment reports are submitted to, and confirmation of who has editing rights to edit the same, including confirmation of their roles.
Only the assessing social workers do this. The content is discussed and suggestions are made on wording, grammar etc.
