1. Please confirm who was responsible for the design of the form. Was it designed Internally within DCC or by an external company and if so, who?
The Future Fox Ltd hosted the Phase 2 Consultation on behalf of Devon County Council
2. I personally found it Impossible to submit my response unless I voted in favour of at least 1 option. Others report the same. Please can you advise if this was the case and if not, what should I have done to vote against all 4 options as that seemed impossible to do?
The Future Fox Ltd have confirmed that the form was not configured in the way described and that all give answer choices (Strongly Disagree, Disagree, Neutral, Agree and Strongly Agree) were visible to all users when providing responses, irrespective of the answers provided to other questions.
3. I understand the ‘background’ of the form would have had ‘a code’ which would either have allowed for all 4 options to be voted against or would have required at least one option to have been voted for. Please advise if this code prevented respondents from voting against all 4 options. Can we see sight of this code?
As above, The Future Fox Ltd have indicated that the form was not configured in the way described.
4. It would be appreciated if a paragraph could be sought from the organisation that designed the form to explicitly confirm point 2 above.
Please see below:
“Could you please confirm that, to the best of your knowledge, there was no coding which prevented people from selecting ‘Strongly disagree’ or ‘Disagree’ in relation to all four traffic filter options?
I can confirm it is not possible to configure the platform to present but disallow the selection of certain options, and that the 5 answer options were visible to all users. The response data shows respondents were able to select those options.”
5. Please advise if anyone was able to vote against all 4 options and if so, how many people did that?
Yes, our analysis indicates 402 respondents indicated they strongly disagreed with and/or disagreed with all four options. Of these:
• * 379 respondents responded through the online form
• * 22 respondents responded by email or post
• * 1 respondent responded by telephone
