Recycling and gritting salt contracts

Please can you tell me if you have any tendering contract work for recycling as well as any tendering work for haulage companies delivering road and pavement salt to the council’s highways depot.

The information requested above can be found at the following  CPF2034-21 South West Collaborative De-Icing Salt Framework 2021-2025, which was established by Devon County Council to enable the purchase of de-icing salt to be spread onto roads during the winter maintenance programme period for Devon County Council, Conserv Ltd (on behalf of Cornwall Council), North Somerset Council, Torbay Council, National Highways shared depots in Devon & Cornwall and Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue Service.

The Framework commenced on 1st July 2021, and runs for 48 months (until 30th June 2025).

It is envisaged that a replacement Framework will be procured early in 2025.

Do the Council sell wastepaper and waste woods, to biomass and wood waste recycling companies?

Devon County Council tenders contracts for the operation of its Household Waste Recycling Centres. The contractor(s) for these facilities directly manage the recycling of wood waste collected.

We do have a contract in place to manage/recycle paper waste.
