Cycle to Work Scheme

Compliance with the request below would exceed the appropriate cost limit under Section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 which is £450 or 18 hours of officer time. Our Workforce system does not hold a centralised record of some of the information requested. As such, we would need to search by each team via iTrent and look through each individual employee’s expense claims to find the relevant ones. Workforce do not hold the names of any/which teams that have access or use of any specific vehicles and we do not currently hold a master record of Devon County Council (DCC) vehicles or vehicles in use by DCC staff (e.g. also including personal vehicles/bikes as these are used by social workers in their job requirements etc). In the interests of providing advice and assistance, we have answered as many questions as we can below, within the appropriate limit.

Internal staff guidance, salary sacrifice and Tax-free scheme, Yammer health and wellbeing groups, Teams health and wellbeing groups, Team meetings and catch-ups, Free Bikeability courses and cycling facilities at most locations.

Staff who park vehicles in DCC car parks register their vehicle. Staff who are casual or essential car users who submit travel and expense claims have which vehicle or mode of transport they use recorded against the claims.
