Babcock LDP – Black and British – A Short, Essential Story
Using funding from the Devon Education Fund, we are delighted to be able to provide all Devon secondary schools with a class set of David Olusoga’s book ‘Black and British. A short, essential history’.
The Devon Education Fund (DEF) is financed through benefits received from the Joint Venture between Devon County Council and Babcock LDP and it aims to fund ambitious and innovative ideas that will benefit learners in Devon from 0-25 years of age.
Our Babcock School Library Service, Devon has kindly catalogued all 1000 books and is distributing them to all Devon secondary schools next week. We hope that schools will find these books helpful in covering a much-needed stock gap in history collections.
