Honiton Community College: Notification of DfE decision on proposal to close Sixth Form
Following a recent consultation on a proposal to change the age range of Honiton Community College from 11-18 to 11-16 through a phased closure of the sixth form, the Department for Education has now formally approved the Ted Wragg Trust’s application to close the sixth form. Current Year 13 students will be the final cohort of sixth form students at the College, and the Post-16 provision will close in August 2025 once the current Year 13 students have graduated.
A letter from the Trust is available explaining this decision, as well as background information, via: Ted Wragg Multi-Academy Trust – Honiton Community College – Sixth Form Consultation
