Climate action plans for schools survey
Devon County Council are surveying all schools and education settings in Devon to find out about awareness around the need to write a Climate Action Plan (CAP) for your school this year. This is following the Department for Education’s Sustainability and Climate Change Strategy, requiring all schools to have a plan in place, and a nominated Sustainability lead, by the end of 2025 ( Sustainability and climate change strategy – GOV.UK).
The survey will take less than a minute to complete but will provide us with an important insight into where Devon schools are at and what support is needed to help schools produce Climate Action Plans.
