Free Computer Science CPD and loan of kits- Physical computing kits

As a Computing Hub, we now have Physical computing kits for KS2-4 that we can lend for free to state maintained schools for up to 6-weeks. This allows you to plan a significant section of your course, knowing the resources will be available for you.

The kit contents can be found below and link to the free units of work available from the Teach Computing Curriculum:

• Year 5 – Programming A – Selection in Physical Computing (Crumbles)
• Year 6 – Programming B – Sensing (Micro:bits)
• Year 9 – Physical Computing (Micro:bits)
• KS4 – Physical Computing Project (Raspberry Pi Picos)

We are also able to offer free face-to-face CPD, demonstrating the physical computing kit and how the Teach Computing Curriculum can be used to engage students.
