EXPIRED Changes to Statutory Sick Pay (SSP)

With effect from 6 April 2026, Statutory Sick Pay will be payable from the first day of sickness absence and the lower earnings limit threshold will also be removed. This change will apply to workers who are entitled to SSP only. The Workers – Statement of Particulars has been updated to reflect this change.
