Findings of Ofsted’s Big Listen public consultation
The Big Listen was launched in March. It gave professionals, children and learners, parents, carers, and the public an opportunity to give their feedback across 4 areas: Ofsted’s culture, inspection practice, reporting and the impact of inspection. Ofsted has now published the response to the Big Listen, setting out the actions they will take to address what they have heard.

Changes to reporting critical incidents in schools and educational settings
As of 4 September 2024, the process for reporting a Critical Incident impacting a school or educational setting in Devon has changed.
Nursery Plus Team undertake VIG training
Some members of the Nursery Plus Team have been undertaking Video Interaction Guidance (VIG) training. VIG is a positive strengths-based approach to analysing interactions between adults and children in order to support practice and relationships. We look forward to the opportunity to share it with you in our future Nursery Plus work.
