Enhanced safeguarding training expanded ahead of EYFS safeguarding reforms

The Devon Early Years and Childcare Service is pleased to announce an expansion of its Enhanced Safeguarding training in preparation for the upcoming Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) safeguarding reforms, which come into effect on 1st September 2025.


Fully funded training for wraparound childcare and holiday providers (including HAF)

Calling all out of school childcare providers! Do you have trouble promoting your childcare? Do you have issues with recruitment and retention or become financially stable? We will be running fully funded training sessions on these topics- dates to be confirmed soon!


Free reducing parental conflict eLearning training

Devon County Council is offering fully funded eLearning training to provide insights and knowledge about conflict resolution in parental relationships.


How to complete the summer amendment tasks – training session

Have you recently taken over responsibility for using the Provider Portal or need a refresher? The Early Years Funding Team will be running virtual training sessions on how to complete your summer amendment tasks. Sessions are running on 4 July at 11am and 7 July at 6.30pm.
