Decision to award the Authority’s contract for the receipt/collection & disposal of local authority collected healthcare waste to the company identified.
The Authority received only one compliant tender in response to its invitation to tender for this contract and therefore the decision to award the contract to the company below is required to be made by the Cabinet member for the service.
To award a contract to the below organisation for the provision of the above service.

The service will commence on 2nd February 2020 and expires on 31st March 2022 with option to extend the contract by periods totaling a maximum of 3 further years.
An Open tendering procedure was followed in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
The Contract’s notice for this tendering exercise was placed on the Official Journal of the European Union in July 2019.
In response to the Authority’s invitation to tender, only one compliant tender was received.
The paper recommending the award of the contract to the company in section 2 was submitted to the Cabinet Member for Infrastructure, Development and Waste for her approval which was granted on 25.09.2019
