Decision to extend the contract for CP810/12 –Recruitment Advertising & Senior Recruitment Agency.
Decision Taken:
To extend this contract for a period of 12 months from 1st May 2016 until 30th April 2017 with no further extensions available.
Summary of Reason(s) for Decision Taken:
The decision to extend the contract was made following the completion of an options appraisal and the outcome that extending was the best option at present for Devon County Council.
Summary of Alternatives or Options considered and rejected:
The following options were considered:
- Devon County Council to re-tender the contract.
- Allow the contract to expire and do not put another in place.
- Extend the current contract.
- Join an existing frame work.

There are no conflicts of interest in relation to the extension of this contract.
