Decision to extend CP1247-15 – Domestic White Goods contract (ESPO) following an options paper appraisal which recommended the continued use of the ESPO White Goods Framework from 1st April 2021.

Decision Taken:

To continue to access the below organisation’s Framework for the provision of the above contract from the 1st April 2021 – 31st March 2022. Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation (ESPO)

Summary of Reason(s) for Decision Taken:

The decision has been made as it is the most suitable option at the present time following consideration of the outcomes of an options appraisal.

Summary of Alternatives or Options considered and rejected:

An options appraisal was carried out with the following options considered:

  • Devon County Council to re-tender the contract
  • Allow the contract to expire and do not put another in place
  • Extend the current contract
Details of any conflict of interest and dispensation granted to the Officer taking the decision or by any Member of the Council in delegating responsibility for any specific express delegation:

There is no conflict of interest in relation to the extension of this contract
