Decision for non-award of the contracts for CP2079-21 Short Term Blocks (FTS Reference: 2021/S 000-018112). The procurement was a single stage tender process under Social and Other Specific Services (also known as ‘the light touch regime’).

Decision Taken:

Following a full tender process, it’s the Authority’s intention to abandon this procurement and to not award these contracts due to the lack of sufficient bids for all three electoral wards.

The decision has been taken on the basis of insufficient bids.

Summary of Alternatives or Options considered and rejected:

A competitive process was undertaken from which 2 bids were received; these were considered as part of the formal evaluation process however were deemed of non suitable quality.
