further year.

Decision Taken:

To extend the contract for a further year to the below organisation(s)
for the provision of the above contract. The contract will start on date
1st April 2023, for the period of 12 Months:
1. Living Options Devon, Ground Floor Units 3-4 Cranmere Court,
Lustleigh Close, Matford, Business Park, Exeter, Devon. EX2
8PW
2. NYAS (National Youth Advocacy Service), Tower House, Tower
Road, Birkenhead, Wirral, Merseyside CH41 1FF

Summary of Reason(s) for Decision Taken:

Due to changes in legislation for Liberty Protection Safeguards (LPS)
and incomplete guidance on the LPS implementation, the Authority
has insufficient detail at this time to retender the service and provide
a specification that will be fit for purpose.

A competitive process was considered, however dismissed due to the
reasons provided above
