Decision to award the contract for CP2014-20 Child Death Overview Panel Arrangements (CDOP) and Joint Agency response (JAR), following a FTS tender process.

Decision Taken:

To award a contract (Subject to due diligence) to the below organisation for the provision of the above contract.  The contract will commence on 01/04/2022, for the period of 60 Months, with an option to extend for a further 36 months

Livewell Southwest CIC, Local Care Centre, 200 Mount Gould Road, Plymouth, PL4 7PY

Summary of Reason(s) for Decision Taken:

The decision has been taken on the basis of supplier(s) achieving the highest overall score within a best value tender (optimum combination of whole-life costs and quality) in line with the FTS Procurement Directives, Single Stage Bid Procedure, Social and Other Specific Services (also known as ‘the light touch regime’) awarding based upon Most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT).

Summary of Alternatives or Options considered and rejected:

A competitive process was undertaken from which two bids were received, of which only one was compliant and was considered as part of the formal evaluation process.
