The decision has been taken on the basis of supplier provider the correct quality of service during the initial period of the contract.
An option to retender the contract was considered. This option was rejected due to the timely and costly procurement process along with disruption to the service. The current contract is still fit for purpose.
There were no conflicts of interest or dispensation granted for this contract.
