Our Proud to Care campaign to recruit Healthcare Assistants and other vital roles has taken off, with hundreds of people registering their interest. We’re working to ensure staff who need Personal Protective Equipment to do their jobs have access to it. As we move into warmer weather at the weekend, we’re appealing to everyone to please stick to the guidelines.

We are immensely proud of the dedication and calm, professional response from all our staff. Many are able to work from home supporting the delivery of services, while many others are working within our communities to provide care.

We’ve been busy over the weekend to ensure our response to coronavirus (COVID-19) continues at pace. All our staff and colleagues across partner organisations are working hard to make sure we are doing the very best to keep the people of Devon safe, healthy and connected during these difficult times.

We’re working around the clock to ensure the most vulnerable people in Devon are cared for and essential services continue to reach our communities. The single most important thing we can all do to help fight the coronavirus outbreak is to stay at home in order to protect the NHS and save lives.

The outbreak of coronavirus is a difficult and challenging time for us all, and we understand that it will have far reaching impacts on our residents and local communities, particularly those who are most vulnerable.
