EXPIRED Marland Residential School: Proposal to lower the age range

Following an initial consultation, Marland School Governing Body has published a Full Proposal and Brief Notice on the proposal to lower the age range of Marland Residential School from age 10 to 16 to age 8 to 16 (Years 6-11 to Years 4-11). This means a formal consultation period has now commenced.

There is increasing demand for Social Emotional and Mental Health provision at Marland School for younger children than the school is currently registered to take. To meet this demand, the Governing Body are formally consulting on admitting children from the age of 8 instead of age 10.

The full proposal and background information is available at: https://www.devon.gov.uk/haveyoursay/consultations/marland-residential-school-proposal-to-change-the-age-range/
