NJC 2023-24 pay award agreed
We are pleased to announce that the Local Government Services National Joint Council (NJC) 2023-24 pay award has been agreed.
The NJC award and implementation details are outlined below:
- An increase of £1,925 on NJC pay points 2-43 inclusive
- An increase of 3.88 per cent on pay point 44
Increases will be implemented (pro rata for part-time staff) and backdated to April 2023 in the November 2023 pay run, therefore staff will receive this in their November 2023 pay.
The NJC pay grades table (salary and scales) has been updated to reflect new pay rates.
Back pay for eligible employees who left the school’s employment before the pay award was announced should refer to the Inside Devon pay awards page for details on how and when they can request this award.
