Babcock LDP – School Attendance Workshop

Babcock LDP have recently announced their new School Attendance Workshop. This a 2 hour virtual workshop looking school attendance and absence processes as well as good practice.

We will provide advice and guidance to inform practice in schools in order to:

• ensure the accurate recording of attendance/absence especially regarding Covid-19 related absence
• confirm legal processes in Devon
• advise and share good practice relating to communications with parents
• make sure attendance records are complete and accurate before the changes being implemented in the next school census (January 2021)make sure that known areas of foci by Ofsted are considered by schools

In addition, there will be an opportunity to have a Q and A session in order to answer any attendance related questions not covered by the above.
