NJC 2024/25 pay award agreed
We are pleased to announce that the Local Government Services National Joint Council (NJC) 2024/25 pay award has been agreed.
The NJC award and implementation details are outlined below.
- An increase of £1,290 on NJC pay points 2-43 inclusive.
- An increase of 2.5 per cent on pay point 44
Increases will be implemented (pro rata for part-time staff) and backdated to April 2024 in the November 2024 pay run, therefore staff will receive this in their November 2024 pay.
The NJC pay grades table (salary and scales) has been updated to reflect new pay rates.
Back pay for eligible employees, who left their employment before the pay award was announced, should refer to our iTrent and Payroll Pay awards web page for details on how and when they can request this award.
