Free safeguarding training to help schools prevent harmful sexual behaviour
You are invited to book a fully funded safeguarding training course from the Lucy Faithfull Foundation: ‘Managing & Preventing Harmful Sexual Behaviour in Schools’.
The course takes place on Tuesday 17 November 2026 in Exeter and is designed for safeguarding staff across primary, secondary, further education, specialist and residential settings.
The training will equip delegates with the knowledge, confidence and practical resources needed to respond to and prevent harmful sexual behaviour (HSB). Participants will explore the Lucy Faithfull Foundation’s evidence-based whole-school approach, including the “6 Rs” model, traffic light tools, safety plans and post-incident reflective workbooks. They will also develop a personalised HSB prevention plan.
The course is particularly relevant for designated safeguarding leads (DSLs), PSHE/RSHE coordinators, pastoral staff, family support workers and headteachers.
