NEW Wraparound Childcare Funding Available – Don’t miss out!
Devon County Council has secured further funding through the DfE Wraparound Childcare Programme to help schools, academies, childcare providers and childminders create, extend or expand wraparound childcare for primary-aged children.
Funding is available for:
- New or expanded provision where demand can be evidenced
- Start-up grants of up to £1,500
- Sustainability and SEND inclusion grants of up to £5,000
- Transport grants of up to £5,000 to help children access provision at another school site
Applications are open to primary schools, childcare providers and new providers with relevant experience. Provision must be for children in Reception to Year 6 and demonstrate local demand.
Applications close on 28 February 2027. Funded provision must be operational by April 2027.
