Updated model policies- Teacher’s Pay Policy and Teacher’s Appraisal Policy

Following the statutory waiting period for the STPCD we have now removed the ‘draft’ watermark from the 2025 model pay policy document which was previously published in July as draft in the HR ONE Policy Library (under pay and grading).

Alongside this we have now updated the teacher’s appraisal policy to reflect the removal of linking performance to pay progression in the STPCD. A copy of the model policy is available in the HR ONE Policy Library (under Appraisal and Performance Management) for schools to consider adopting.
