Devon Education Services is offering two vital training opportunities for school staff supporting children with physical difficulties. The Initial Moving and Handling course is ideal for those new to this area, providing a comprehensive introduction to safe handling practices, legal responsibilities, and essential documentation such as risk assessments and handling plans. For those who have previously completed training, the Refresher Course ensures skills and knowledge remain up to date, with a focus on practical techniques and back care.

Both courses are delivered in person and include hands-on learning. A 15% discount is available when booking two places using code 2024MH15. Early Years settings may also be eligible for funding support.
