NJC Pay Award 25/26 Agreed
The NJC 2025/26 pay award was agreed in July.
Details:
- Increase of 3.2% on NJC pay points 2-44 inclusive.
Increases will be implemented (pro rata for part-time staff) and backdated to April 2025, staff should have received this in their August 2025 pay. Full details of the award are available in the LGA’s Local government services pay agreement 2025.
The NJC pay grades table (salary and scales) has been updated to reflect new pay rates.
Back pay for eligible employees who left the School’s employment before the pay award was announced should contact the Payroll team.
Universal Credit
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer pay award arrears in instalments.
We understand receiving a lump sum may temporarily reduce your Universal Credit as the Department for Work and Pensions does not recognise that payment of arrears corresponds to previous months. If you would like a letter explaining this to give to the DWP please contact the Payroll team at payroll@devon.gov.uk.
