NJC Pay Negotiations Update

Unfortunately, the National Joint Council (NJC) Pay Award for 2023 has not yet been agreed nationally.

We recently advised that the NJC Trade Union Side were meeting on 19 September to discuss the National Employers’ full and final pay offer. Disappointingly, no decision on the pay offer was reached during that meeting. However, the Trade Unions did agree to reconvene within a few days of GMB’s strike ballots closing on 24 October.

We continue to understand the impact that the delay of this national award has on staff and will keep you informed of any meaningful updates as we get them.
