South West Cyber Protect Briefing for the Education Sector

The South West Regional Cyber Crime Unit (SWRCCU) in collaboration with the South West Cyber Resilience Centre (SWCRC) are inviting educational establishments from the South West region to join them for this free cyber briefing on the threat of ransomware to the education sector.

Aimed at business leaders and decision makers, the presentation will be non-technical and enables attendees to understand the threat their organisation is facing, the potential impact a successful attack could have, top tips on how to protect your network, and will also look at how you can prepare to respond and recover from an attack. Although the session is designed for a non-technical audience, IT leads are also welcome to learn about the current threats and the evolving tactics used in a ransomware attack.
