EXPIRED New Resolution Policy (was Grievance Policy)

Devon County Council has reviewed and relaunched its Grievance Policy with a new title of Resolution Policy and Procedure. It aims to provide a supportive framework for resolving concerns at work and fulfils the statutory requirement for an employer to have a Grievance Procedure. The key requirements of the process have not changed but the terminology and emphasis have changed.

Key features

  • Individuals should attempt to resolve issues and concerns informally in the first instance
  • If a complaint is not resolved after informal action has been taken, a Resolution Request Form should be completed
  • When a completed Resolution Request Form is submitted the formal Resolution procedure will apply
