EXPIRED Cranbrook Special Free School

Following a successful bid by DCC to open a new special free school in Cranbrook, the DfE has now published details on how proposer groups can apply to establish and run the new school. Applicants are able to register their interest with the DfE by 5pm on 16 June 2023.

The proposed school will be a 70 place special free school for pupils aged 9-16 years of age with autistic spectrum disorder, social emotional and mental health, speech, language and communication. This is a wide brief ensuring the most complex learners, across the range of levels of cognition, can access appropriate provision close to their homes and communities.

Full details are available on the DfE’s website at GOV.UK.
