We are delighted that Gary Aubin (Head of SEND at Future Academies, EEF SEND associate, author of The Lone SENCo) will be one of our keynote speakers this year. He’s well known for his work around the inclusion of children with SEND in mainstream schools and his use of evidence-based research (such as the EEF 5 a day principle) to support pupils engage successfully in the classroom.
Workshops will be focused on practical ideas for broadening and developing our universal provision to meet the increasingly complex and diverse needs within our mainstream classes, the importance of relational approaches in settings, and the new attendance strategy and its implications for pupils with SEND.
