Job Evaluation and Model Job Descriptions

The job evaluation policy and flowcharts (1 September 2026) have replaced the new and changed jobs policy.

We have also taken the opportunity to update the guidance on writing job descriptions and have replace the documents with job descriptions in for Early Years, Business Managers and TAs with individual model job descriptions and a summary sheet which captures the key information about each role.

It should be easier to download a model job description – please follow the guidance on changed jobs if you want to make any amendments to a model job description beyond line manager and school name as this will then be a bespoke job description.
