Supporting Service Pupils in our schools
We are asking school leaders in Devon to take just a few minutes to complete this short survey in respect of Service Pupils.
This survey is open from Tuesday 23 June to Tuesday 7 July 2026.
This survey is being hosted by South Gloucestershire Council on behalf of Forces Connect South West – a partnership of Local Authorities across the South West of England, working together to support the delivery of the Armed Forces Covenant to the military community. The partnership includes every Local Authority in the South West, from Gloucestershire to Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, to Dorset and Wiltshire.
We’re asking every school in the South West of England asking what information and support you might like to see, which could better equip you in meeting the needs of Service Pupils and their families.
We are you’ll appreciate the current need to ensure the unique challenges faced by our Service Pupils are met. As such, Forces Connect South West will use the results of this survey to inform concrete actions – locally, regionally and nationally – in support of schools. This could be a full range of actions from a hyper-local activity to making representations at a national level (as examples, this range of activity could include the provision of information videos, guidance/toolkits, staff training, speaking with relevant MPs etc.).
There is also an opportunity as part of the survey for you to request a copy of the findings of this survey.
