Deletion of NJC Scale Point 2 from 1 April 2026
You may recall that the 2025/26 pay agreement for those employees on NJC Terms and Conditions (which was agreed in July 2025) included the permanent deletion of SCP 2 from the NJC pay spine with effect from 1 April 2026. DCC have a statutory duty to implement the deletion of SCP 2 and these changes also automatically apply to staff on NJC Terms and Conditions in schools where DCC is the employer.
The changes will only affect staff in roles evaluated at Grades A to C and will come into effect from 1 April 2026.
