Healing classrooms free CPD

The Healing Classrooms programme aims to support schools and educators develop inclusive and nurturing learning spaces, where refugee and asylum-seeking students can gain the necessary academic, social, and emotional skills to develop their full potential.

They offer free training sessions and resources to educators and schools supporting refugee and asylum-seeking students in the UK.

• The Basics training covers the three steps to the Healing Classrooms Approach – our trauma-informed approach to welcoming and teaching refugee students.
• The CPD course covers two sessions on trauma in refugee communities, followed by the three steps. This course has slightly more interaction and different case studies and activities so staff are welcome to attend both.

All participants will receive a free accompanying handbook for whichever course they choose.
