(FOOTPATH No. 9, OTTERTON)
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.
The order came into force on Monday, 1st July 2024 and would have expired on Tuesday, 31st
December 2024.
By direction of the Secretary of State in exercise of his powers under Section 15(5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the order shall continue in force until Monday 30th June 2025 or until works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
No persons shall proceed on the section of the affected path except for access to land or premises on or adjacent to that length of path.
Public right of way affected: OTTERTON PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.9 (THE SECTION OF COAST PATH DIRECTLY EAST OF LADRAM BAY HOLIDAY PARK).

The holiday park has signed a temporary inland diversion route.
The temporary closure is necessary in the interest of public safety after a significant cliff fall.
