TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2023
NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.
The order came into force on Thursday 1st June 2023 and would have expired on Friday 1st December 2023
By direction of the Secretary of State in exercise of his powers under Section 15(5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the order shall continue in force until Saturday 1st June 2024 or until works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
No persons shall proceed on the section of the affected path except for access to land or premises on or adjacent to that length of path.
Public right of way affected:
FOOTPATH No. 9, NEWTON ABBOT the full length of the footpath from near Littlejoy Cottage to near Oaklands

There is no alternative route
The closure is necessary to carry out remediation works of Holbeam Dam
