With the current yellow heat health alert in place for the South West, from 12pm on Saturday 4 July until 5pm on Wednesday 8 July, the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has provided public health advice on reducing the risk of illness when swimming in open water.

Swimming is a great form of exercise we can all enjoy, and there are hundreds of beautiful wild swimming sites across the UK to explore.
